Advertising Terms

Rusty Metal Riders provides community event listings, seven-day featured-event placement, and monthly Road Sponsor placement. Purchasing promotion does not guarantee that an event, business, logo, link, or description will be accepted. RMR reviews submissions for relevance, accuracy, safety, and suitability for the Texas motorcycle community.

The person submitting content confirms that they are authorized to provide it and that the information is accurate. They remain responsible for event changes, cancellations, permissions, trademarks, copyrighted material, and claims about their business or event. RMR may reject or remove content that is misleading, unlawful, unsafe, hateful, sexually explicit, fraudulent, infringing, unrelated, or damaging to the community.

A Featured Event purchase covers seven consecutive days beginning when RMR verifies payment and approves the request. Featured placement moves the event forward and adds a badge; it does not guarantee attendance, sales, clicks, or any other result. Road Sponsor placement remains active while the related monthly Square subscription is active and the content remains compliant.

Listings and sponsor placements are advertisements or community information, not an endorsement or guarantee by RMR. Riders should confirm details with organizers before traveling or spending money.

Refunds & Cancellation

Featured Events: the $15 fee is refundable if RMR rejects the request or cannot provide the purchased placement. After the seven-day feature begins, the fee is normally non-refundable. Duplicate or mistaken charges should be reported promptly through the Contact RMR page.

Road Sponsors: the $49 sponsorship renews monthly until canceled through Square. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not normally produce a prorated refund for a billing period already started. RMR will refund a duplicate charge or a paid period in which the promised placement cannot be provided.

If an advertised event is canceled or ends during its feature window, contact RMR promptly. Any replacement placement or refund is handled reasonably based on the circumstances and the portion of service already delivered.

Privacy Policy

RMR collects the information visitors voluntarily submit, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, event details, organizer details, business descriptions, links, flyers, logos, and messages. This information is used to review, publish, administer, and support event listings, promotions, and sponsorships.

Public listing information—such as event details, organizer names, business names, descriptions, flyers, logos, and links—may appear publicly after approval. Contact details supplied only for review or support are not intentionally displayed unless the submitter includes them in public-facing content.

Payments are processed by Square. RMR does not receive or store customers’ complete payment-card or banking credentials through this website. Square’s own terms and privacy policy govern its payment service.

To prevent spam and abuse, RMR temporarily counts requests using a one-way hashed network identifier. The original network address is not stored in the rate-limit record.

If a rider chooses “Find Events Near Me,” the browser uses the device location only to calculate approximate distance on that device. RMR does not send or store that precise location.

RMR does not sell submitted personal information. Information may be shared with service providers needed to operate the website, prevent abuse, process payments, comply with law, or protect users and the service. Reasonable security measures are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
